We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Upfit Technician to join our growing team. This role involves working in a manufacturing environment to complete carpentry tasks and installing medical equipment in mobile medical clinics. The ideal candidate has experience in basic carpentry, is comfortable reading blueprints, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

General Tasks

• Perform basic and finish carpentry tasks in the assembly of mobile medical units.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and verbal instructions to complete upfit work.

• Install a variety of medical and facility equipment, including:
  • Monitors
  • Exam Beds
  • Soap & Paper Towel Dispensers
  • Other related fixtures
• Ensure precise and clean finishes on cabinetry, trim, wall panels, and other interior features.
• Work collaboratively with other team members in a manufacturing setting to meet production deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in healthcare, community health, or a related field is a plus.

• 2+ years of carpentry experience, including finishing work.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with equipment installation is a plus.
• Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically able to stand, lift, and move equipment as needed.

• 80 PTO hours available after first 60 days of service.
