Van Driver (After-School)

We are a Dance Studio that provide Afterschool for surrounding schools in Henry County & Clayton County. We are looking for a After-School Van Driver for the hours of 1:30pm-4:30pm. Our ideal candidates will have at least one year of experience driving passenger van.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age

Have a Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Are able to drive a passenger van (a normal drivers license is all that is needed)

Ability to pass a background check

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 1:30-4:30 pm

Responsibilities

- Transport children safely from their local school to Destiny Dance Studio.

- Following assigned routes and maintaining punctual pickup and drop-off schedules.

- Documenting attendance as well as pickup and drop-off times.

- It's important to adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.

- Performing daily safety checks on the vehicle to confirm it is operating safely.

- Reporting any mechanical issues or concerns regarding the van.

- Keeping the interior of the van clean and well-organized.

- Creating and rehearsing emergency evacuation procedures.

- Ensuring that children are never left unattended in the vehicle.

- Upholding order and discipline among passengers in line with program policies.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
