Van Driver / Warehouse Assistant

Child Hunger Outreach Partners is looking for a Van Driver/Warehouse Assistant in our Scranton, PA location.

Job Description:

• Driving to appointments and customer service calls.
• Loading and unloading of deliveries.
• Safely operate a vehicle and comply with all traffic laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on vehicles before and after each trip to ensure that the vehicles are safe for driving and driving privileges are maintained.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to: work attendance policy, vehicle usage policy, maintenance policy, transportation usage, safety policy, and work hours.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid PA Driver’s License.
• Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, written text, email, and face-to-face.
• Ability to read and understand English.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted on a daily basis while maintaining good posture and calm demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
