What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll be involved in meaningful patient care, including:

Clinical & Technical Duties

• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics (blood draws, X-rays, lab work), surgical prep, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery
• Administer medications and vaccines per veterinarian direction
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients (vitals, treatments, monitoring)
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Client & Team Interaction

• Greet clients warmly and educate them on pet care, preventive health, and treatment plans
• Safely handle and restrain pets using low-stress techniques
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners

Clinic Environment

• Help keep the clinic clean, organized, and running smoothly
• Contribute as part of the team — no task too small

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Experience in veterinary clinical support and diagnostic procedures
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal physiology, and aseptic clinic practices
• Skilled in venipuncture, catheterization, restraint, intubation, and lab procedures
• Excellent communicator and team player

Preferred

• Experience in veterinary critical care
• License or certification (if applicable)
• Avimark and/or Weave experience a plus

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable lifting animals/equipment (up to ~50 lbs)
• Standing and active throughout your shift
