Day to Day
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Operations to oversee our global operations organization. This role will oversee business operations for job seekers and clients, technical operations for clients, and scaled operations which enables the outsourcing needs of all Indeed functions. The VP of Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, optimizing processes, and delivering excellent service to our customers on both sides of the hiring marketplace.
Responsibilities
Business Operations
Strategic Oversight: Oversee operations for job seekers and employers, ensuring seamless delivery of services and exceptional user experiences.
Optimization: Develop and implement scalable processes and solutions to enable evolving business needs and drive operational efficiency.
Partnership: Partner with product, marketing, and sales teams to align operational strategies with business goals.
Technical Operations for Clients
Service Excellence: Oversee technical support functions to ensure timely resolution of client issues and enhance client satisfaction.
Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in technical operations through automation, analytics, and industry best practices.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring system reliability and security.
Scaled Operations
Cross-Functional Leadership: Design and implement scalable operations that sustain all business areas, including customer support, product delivery, and internal functions.
Global Alignment: Coordinate with regional teams to ensure consistency in operations while addressing local needs and challenges.
Technology Integration: Leverage advanced tools and technologies to improve efficiency and performance across operational teams.
Leadership and Team Management
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing operations team.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
Establish metrics and KPIs to monitor team performance and operational effectiveness.
Skills/Competencies
Experience:
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, client success or technology
Proven success in scaling operations for a global organization, preferably within the technology or online marketplace sectors.
Experience overseeing technical and business operations with a focus on customer success.
Skills & Competencies:
Strategic mindset with a proven ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
Inquisitiveness
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Deep expertise in process optimization, automation, and operational scalability.
Exceptional analytical and data-driven approach to managing operations.

United States Remote 255,000 - 380,000 USD
Austin, Texas United States Remote
New York City Metro Area 270,000 - 400,000 USD
Scottsdale 255,000 - 380,000 USD
Seattle 255,000 - 385,000 USD
San Francisco Bay Area 280,000 - 420,000 USD
Salary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), a Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
