We’re looking for a talented and reliable Video Editor based in the Tampa / St. Petersburg area to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about the creative process.

The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Premiere Pro, experienced across the Adobe Creative Suite, and knows how to shape a compelling story through visual media. You'll work side-by-side with Producers, Directors, and the broader post team to bring engaging content to life.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Producers and Directors to bring concepts from rough cut to final delivery.
• Edit with precision and creativity using Adobe Premiere Pro, with a strong sense of pacing and story structure.
• Build animations and motion graphics using After Effects (from scratch or via templates).
• Handle DaVinci Resolve round-trip workflows for color correction and grading.
• Perform in-house audio sweetening and mixes with Adobe Audition.
• Create and update visual assets using Adobe Photoshop.
• Manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting tight deadlines.
• Deliver exports in various formats for social, digital, and streaming platforms.
• Understand compression, encoding, and all relevant codecs for proper distribution.
• Maintain file organization and project management best practices.

Qualifications:

• Strong storytelling instincts and a sharp editorial eye.
• Ability to take direction and adapt quickly to feedback.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
• Professional understanding of workflows, project timelines, and media management.
• Must have a strong reel or portfolio and be prepared to explain your creative and technical process.
