The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating videos that enhance our brand presence online, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our digital platforms that generate marketed qualified leads. This role requires a strong understanding of video production, some graphic design skills, and a passion for producing engaging content.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team in planning, shooting, and editing engaging video content for various marketing channels ranging in quality from Tik Tok, Meta Reels to YouTube and other streaming channels.
- Collaborate with internal marketing team to ideate and create compelling video storyboards that align with each of our brand's images and messaging.
- Create video campaigns that drive brand awareness, product awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with agency partners and vendors.
- Source talent for videos and various shooting locations.
- Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across all video materials.
- Create graphics to support marketing campaigns on various platforms.
- Support the marketing team in various tasks related to campaign execution and optimization.
- Proven experience as a video editor or in a similar role, with a portfolio that highlights your previous work.
- A degree or certification in film production, video editing, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience with videography and the ability to use cameras and other equipment is a plus.
- Must be comfortable both behind and in front of the camera.
- Strong passion for video content creation with an intermediate knowledge of video editing tools (ie. Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
- Intermediate knowledge of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously for multiple brands.
- A creative thinker with a sharp eye for visual storytelling
- Must live in Greater Toronto Area or Hamilton Area
- A driver’s license and access to reliable, insured vehicle are required for this position.
- Will be required to travel to branch locations within GTHA
- This role may require availability outside of traditional office hours to meet project deadlines or to collaborate with team members in different time zones.
