Warehouse Associate

Job Description

· Performs warehousing activities for organization by performing the following duties personally and/or with co-workers.

· Keep the parts warehouse clean and organized. Follow all safety guidelines and policy.

· Supports physical inventory of the warehouse

· Sort, segregate and palletize products according to provided documentation and instructions.

· Places emphasis on accuracy, quality and productivity in a detail oriented environment.

· Maintains appearance of rack areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.

· Maintains excellent attendance to ensure duties are performed.

· Able to lift 75Lbs. Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 75Lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.

· Operate various equipment to include hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe manner and within company guidelines.

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

· Work independently and ability to stay focused and on task.

· Handle all material movement required to support all other departments in the attainment of their own functional goals.

· Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas.

· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins per predetermined sequence or standards.

· Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.

Work Environment

• Duties are performed primarily in a warehouse environment.

• Work occasionally near mechanical parts and in high places.

• Exposure to cold temperatures in the winter and hot temperatures in the summer.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, balance, and reach below and above the shoulders.

• Occasional duties in an outside environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
