Job Description:
Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
The primary function of this position is to ensure the safe, efficient movement of freight within a fast-paced warehouse environment, thereby exceeding customer expectations. Responsibilities include unloading and verifying inbound shipments, loading outbound freight for delivery, and repacking parts into customer-specific containers. This role also involves verifying inventory accuracy, handling materials weighing up to 60 pounds, and operating forklifts to complete daily tasks.

• Sort and distribute products within the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow.
• Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Transport materials from the receiving production area to storage or designated locations by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Organize and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves, or transport orders to the packing or shipping department.
• Mark materials with identifying information and record quantities or items received or distributed.
• Use a computer or scanning device to enter and maintain inventory records.
• Prepare or copy worksheets or tickets based on customer specifications.

Job Requirements:
Seeking an individual who:

• Safely operates forklifts and obtains forklift certification within 30 days of hire.
• Uses machinery, tools, and specialized equipment such as hand scanners, scissors, box cutters, crates, rolling carts, straps/bands, and hand trucks.
• Inspects product loads for accuracy and transports materials safely within the warehouse to ensure on-time complete deliveries.
• Loads and unloads materials, pallets, skids, and other transport vehicles both manually and mechanically.
• Provides their own steel-toe boots (eligible for $150 reimbursement after 30 days of employment).

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license (non-CDL).
• Forklift certification.
• 1+ years of Reach Truck and Sit Down forklift experience.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Exposure to noise and changes in temperature depending on the time of year, down to about 45 degrees.
• Amount of each day spent: Standing/Walking: 50%; Sitting: 50%; Working Inside: 90%; Working Outside: 10%.
• Must be able to alternate walking, standing, sitting, twisting, bending, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, carrying, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds.

Wage Range: 21.00 - 24.00 per hour
