Position Title: Warehouse Manager

Reports To: Joey Scuticchio, Director of Corporate Services

Employment Type: Full Time Position

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, and coordinating the delivery of products to our restaurants. This role includes negotiating with vendors for the purchase of materials, ordering non-perishable supplies, maintaining organization within the warehouse, and managing the delivery and accountability of catering supplies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Delivery:

· Coordinate and oversee the timely delivery of products to restaurants, ensuring that all deliveries are accurate and meet quality standards.

· Manage delivery schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

Vendor Negotiation and Ordering Supplies:

· Negotiate with vendors for the purchase of materials, supplies, equipment, and services, securing the best possible prices and service guarantees.

· Order non-perishable supplies for the restaurants, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that all orders are placed in a timely manner.

· Collaborate with restaurant managers to assess supply needs and adjust orders accordingly.

Warehouse Inventory Management:

· Maintain accurate inventory records, conducting regular audits to ensure stock levels are correct.

· Organize and manage the warehouse layout to maximize space and improve accessibility to products.

Catering Supplies Management:

· Oversee the delivery and accountability of catering supplies, ensuring that all items are tracked and accounted for.

· Work closely with the catering team to ensure that all necessary supplies are available for events.

Team Leadership:

· Supervise warehouse staff, providing training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to safety protocols.

· Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Safety and Compliance:

· Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the warehouse.

· Implement best practices for inventory handling and storage to minimize waste and loss.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

· Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role, with at least one year of experience in the Food and Beverage or Hospitality industry.

· Must speak fluent English and possess strong organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

· Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

· Must be 21 years of age or older and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

· Must have two valid forms of identification that qualify the employee to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.) and perform physical tasks as needed.

· Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

· Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

· Full-time position with local travel during business hours. Possible weekend work when events dictate.
