Warehouse Operative Portwest

Charles Hughes Ltd. (PORTWEST), a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of outdoor clothing and workwear is currently seeking applications for the position of warehouse operative for our warehouse in Westport, Co. Mayo. This is an entry level position and full training will be given to the successful candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick and pack customer orders

• Pack special uniform orders

• Dispatch orders to customers

• Carry out stock checks

• Use computer software as required

• Maintain a high level of health and safety standards

• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Speed and accuracy to meet expected targets

• Ability to follow instructions and be methodical and organised.

• Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.

• High energy levels as this is a very busy warehouse.

• Ideally will have a full drivers licence (not essential)

• Ideally will have up to date Safe Pass certificate (not essential)

• Forklift license beneficial (not essential)

• Microsoft Office skills beneficial

• Previous warehouse/stores experience an advantage but not essential

• Strong communication skills
