Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Oversee day-to-day picking, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and distribution plans to maximize output.
• Ensure all warehouse tools and equipment are in good condition and stay well maintained to prevent equipment failures.
• Ensures the timely and correct delivery, receiving and picking of all customer orders, purchase orders and manufacturing orders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Maintaining a personnel structure and ensuring staffing to accomplish the warehouse and receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner.
• Enforce optimal operational policies and procedures in compliance with company s strategic plans and vision.
• Work with Manager to maintain safety and security standards, create incident prevention plans and promptly address all potential hazards and ensuring adherence to all SQF, cGMP, SSOP’s, and LOTO rules and regulations.
• Assist with the flow of information between management and warehouse crew.
• Re-training and evaluating performance of warehouse workers
• Resolving any discrepancies with the shipping and receiving of goods according to customers and purchase orders.
• Using the company’s electronic Scanner System to accurately book orders, move pallets, receive ingredients, pick’ orders and book customer orders
• Understanding and following first in first out (FIFO).
• Ensuring the timely and correct delivery, receiving and picking of all customer orders, purchase orders and manufacturing orders.
• Ensuring that all material deviations condition or damages are handled according to the company procedures.
• Ensuring required documentation is always accurate and completed in a timely manner.

Experience/Skills/Education

• 2+ years of successful supervisor experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Experience operating various PITs (cherry pickers, stand up and sit down forklifts)
• Experience with basic excel functions and formulas
• Knowledge of warehousing
• Strong, data driven decision making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, team player mentality
• Demonstrated ability to motivate a team
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift 50 lbs.
