Water Mitigation Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team in the restoration industry. This role is essential for providing high-quality services related to water damage restoration, mold remediation, and fire restoration. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. IICRC certification and valid Driver's License.

Duties
As a Water Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Assessing water damage and determining appropriate restoration methods.
• Utilizing power tools and hand tools to perform water extraction and drying processes.
• Conducting mold remediation and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Cleaning and restoring affected areas, including carpet cleaning and structural repairs.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring all tools are clean and in good working condition.
• Documenting work performed and communicating with clients regarding the restoration process.

Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:

• Mold remediation techniques and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with the restoration industry practices and standards.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Understanding of water damage restoration processes, including drying techniques.
• Experience in fire restoration or asbestos abatement is a plus but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
