We Need A Handy Maintenance Worker

Comfort Hotel Göteborg requires care and attention from someone we can trust when things go wrong. We welcome hundreds of guests every week, which can cause damage or wear and tear on the hotel fabric. We are seeking someone with excellent operational and maintenance skills in rooms and commercial buildings.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Worker who can help care for the hotel and maintain it to excellent standards. This post requires that you are both practical and have a thorough understanding of technical solutions.

Curious to know more about the role?

• Day-to-day operation of the building.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and keep up to date with new standards.
• Day-to-day maintenance including everything from painting and repairs to care of outdoor areas.
• You understand that the needs of the guest take priority and ensure all the Hotel facilities and related features are always fully functional.

Does this sound like you?

• You have a technical background with experience of operational management of complex buildings
• Ideally with a professional certification within electricity or plumbing (VVS)
• A sound financial grasp and understanding of how energy usage affects the hotel's bottom line.
• You have a flexible approach, enjoy solving problems and can be available at short notice.
• As well as being flexible, we are looking for a positive outlook, excellent communication skills, diligence and a hard-working approach.
• You must be organised, methodical, and clear.
• Experience in commercial buildings or hotel maintenance is a plus.
