Position overview:

We’re seeking a talented Web Developer – AI Tools & WordPress Specialist to join our team in a part-time capacity, and help drive next-generation website development using Claude Code, Cursor, and WordPress.

In this role, you’ll blend traditional development expertise with AI-assisted workflows to build, optimize, and maintain high-performance websites.

You’ll collaborate with designers, engineers, and project leads to accelerate development, streamline processes, and deliver innovative web experiences that leverage the latest in AI-powered tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Use Claude Code and Cursor for AI-assisted coding, refactoring, and documentation.
• Build responsive, accessible, and performant front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React, Next.js, or Vue preferred).
• Optimize website performance, SEO, and accessibility across devices.
• Collaborate with design and content teams to implement new features and updates.
• Participate in version control (Git/GitHub), testing, and peer review workflows.
• Maintain clear documentation and best practices for AI-assisted development.
• Stay up to date with trends in web technologies and AI-enhanced coding.

Requirements:

• Proven experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Next.js, or Vue).
• Strong understanding of PHP and WordPress theme/plugin architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with AI tools for debugging, optimization, and documentation.
• Solid grasp of website performance, accessibility, and SEO principles.
• Experience integrating external APIs and managing data workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Python or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with UI/UX frameworks.
• Understanding of AI-assisted automation and its applications in web workflows.

Salary: USD $550 monthly range; Part-time role
