Web Operations Specialist

About the job
In this role, you will be responsible for managing content change and content building tasks for the web, prioritizing and actioning updates, and ensuring all pages adhere to Nordic's design system and best practices.

Your tasks will include building and configuring pages, promoting content freshness, liaising with content owners, and supporting QA activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, strong English communication skills, familiarity with web content management principles, and some QA experience. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks, liaise effectively with stakeholders, and ensure the highest quality of web content.


Key responsibilities

  • Manage inbound web content change requests
    • Prioritise and complete updates, changes, deletions and page configuration requests from key stakeholders throughout the company
    • Own the running log of page change and update requests
    • Communicate with stakeholders throughout change process
    • Monitor and maintain consistency and style of content, in line with brand guidelines
  • Build pages
    • Configure, construct and lay out pages using our content experience engine, in line with UX systems and standards
    • Enforce Nordic’s design system across all pages
    • Ensure pages on Nordic sites adhere to best practice for usability, searchabilty and accessibility
  • Promote content freshness
    • Proactively scan Nordic pages to find outdated or invalid content
    • Liaise with content owners to rectify identified issues
    • Verify content freshness of Nordic’s sales content repository, and manage updates as needed
  • Content-level testing and support for QA activities
  • Supporting delivery of marketing campaigns and projects via participation in selected projects


Qualification and skills


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills
  • Familiarity with web content management and UX principles
  • Experience with web content management operations
  • Understanding of Design Systems and web best practice
  • Task and Workflow management expertise
  • Some QA experience is advantageous
