Wedding & Events Servers

*Part-time/Seasonal, weekends required

We are looking for a seasonal (about Apr-Oct) competent Wedding & Events Server to serve wedding guests. You’ll be the face of our wedding venue and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are set up when guests arrive and serving food and beverages. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d love to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers.

Responsibilities

• Set up guest tables with special attention to detail and order
• Reset banquet room at the end to night for next event
• Follow uniform requirements
• Take and serve orders
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Banquet/event or server experience preferred
• Customer service experience
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties (if needed)
• Attention to cleanliness and detail
• Patience and customer-oriented approach
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
• Responsible and trustworthy
• High school diploma is a plus but not required

Qualifications

• Serving, banquet experience preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• POS system & cash register experience preferred
• Food industry experience preferred
• Training provided

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
