Weekend Barista/Team Member

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and pastries, maintaining cleanliness in the workspace, and ensuring that every customer has a delightful experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, counters, and seating areas.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations in food handling practices.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
• Strong customer service skills to effectively assist customers and address their needs.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of customers.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Experience in food handling within the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Latte art is a huge bonus!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
