Welcome Host

We are looking for multiple Welcome Hosts for three of our exclusive Rome-based venues, where you’ll be responsible for creating delightful experiences for our guests. This role is not just about welcoming guests; it's about creating an unforgettable atmosphere and providing exceptional service. One of our venues, the ItaliaPass Lounge located in Termini Station, is a place for our patrons to decompress from their trip, pause for their hotel check-ins, or wait in comfort for their train to depart, away from the hustle and bustle of the Station. The Galleria, situated in the heart of Piazza Navona, is an intimate and historical venue where we will be hosting food, wine, and other entertainment events for our guests, experiencing all that Rome has to offer. Lastly, our Vatican Lounge located one block below the Vatican gates, for our customers to enjoy the air conditioning and learn more about the Vatican and other Italian experiences we offer. Our needs are between 25-40 hours per week, depending on the venue and specific schedule.

What you’ll do

• Welcome and greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Assist in setting up, taking down, restocking, and ensuring the spaces are always presentable
  
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness
  
• Ensure the safe movement up and down stairs and throughout the venue, overall prioritize safety and well-being
• Ensure the security and safety of the respective venue
• Assisting with luggage storage and additional concierge services, offering helpful information about Rome, including local attractions and history
• Enhance guest interactions, potentially selling additional products and services and providing valuable recommendations
• Manage communications with guests through phone and email
• Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and other support staff as needed

Who you are

• A vibrant individual with a passion for customer service
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Possess basic concierge skills and the ability to promote other products and services to guests
• Experience in tourism and/or hospitality
• Responsible and reliable
• Background in storytelling or drama is highly advantageous
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
  
• Legally authorized to work in Rome
