NZ Police are seeking a motivated, reliable, and professional individual to join our team of 15,000 as a Workforce Coordinator within our Workforce Management (WFM) team. WFM plays a critical role in ensuring our people are deployed safely and effectively, helping manage operational demand, reduce risk, support good leave management, and contribute to the overall delivery of services New Zealanders expect from Police.
The Workforce Coordinator position is an important part of the WFM team. In this role, you will gather information, respond to queries, update rosters, plan for abstractions, enter data, make system changes, and communicate with a wide range of Police staff. This role offers variety, insight into how Police operate, and excellent development opportunities. It's a strong foundation for a Constabulary career, or a pathway into areas such as WFM, HR Advisory, the HR Service Hub, Payroll, Recruitment, or wider People Services.
Key Accountabilities:
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word Power Point) to develop reports and documents
- Excellent time management, communication skills and teamwork
- Adaptable to change and re-prioritisation of tasks
- Working collaboratively to achieve KPI's
- Be motivated, energetic, and self-driven
- Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines
- Experience in rostering, scheduling, workforce planning, and WFM are desired but not essential.
