Established in 1967 Murphy Engines Overhaul has been remanufacturing and repairing engines in Cork for over 50 years. We repair engines of all types and manufacturers.
As well as our renowned industry expertise, we have an extensive sourcing network which often helps us to resolve issues a lot more quickly and more cost effectively than main dealers. We have established a reputation as the go to company for both garages and commercial engine mechanics who come across complex engine problems.
Job description
A vacancy has arisen at Murphy Engines for a Workshop Coordinator.
About the role:
The role is supportive, administrative and customer orientated and will include the following main responsibilities as well as other admin duties:
- Reception duties such as answering telephone, transferring calls to relevant departments,
- Email enquiries.
- Meeting and greeting customers.
- Managing bookings to the service department.
- Assisting the workshop by raising work estimates, job cards and Sales invoices.
- Keeping customers updated on progress of their repairs in the workshop.
- Contacting customers for authority to proceed with repairs.
- Liaising with the Stores Department, Service Manager and technicians.
The ideal candidate should be:
- Computer literate with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook) & Sage
- Excellent English both Written and Oral.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a "Can" do attitude to their work.
- Knowledge or experience of motor vehicles an advantage but not essential
- Experience in Administration necessary , further training will be provided.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to €35,000.00 per year
