About Touching Miami with Love (TML):
Touching Miami with Love is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving and empowering youth in the Overtown and West Homestead communities. With over 30 years of service, TML fosters positive change and creates opportunities for youth through programs focusing on education, social development, and personal growth.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at Touching Miami with Love. This individual will work directly with youth ages 14-24, helping design and implement programs that support educational success, personal development, and community engagement. The Youth Program Coordinator will manage daily operations, collaborate with community partners, and provide mentorship, guidance, and support for the youth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Development and Implementation: Plan, develop, and lead daily activities that align with TML’s mission to educate, empower, and inspire youth.
  • Mentorship and Support: Establish positive, mentoring relationships with program participants, fostering a safe and supportive environment.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance program offerings and resources for youth.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and execute special events, including community gatherings, youth workshops, and outreach activities.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track program outcomes, collect feedback, and report on progress to management and funders.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all program activities meet safety regulations and that participants adhere to TML’s code of conduct.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social work, youth development, or a related field preferred but not required (equivalent experience will be considered).
  • 2+ years of experience working with youth, preferably in a nonprofit or community-based organization.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to TML’s mission and values and a passion for empowering youth.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing youth programs
  • Proficient in program development and project management
  • Excellent public speaking and marketing abilities
  • Data Collection Knowledge
  • Experience in administrative tasks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
