Location: Tallaght, County Dublin

Role: Kitchen Assistant

Reporting to: Chef/Relevant Manager

Salary: €15.00 per hour/ Increase after 3 months €15.50/Sunday extra 50c per hour

Terms: Monday to Sunday (11am to 7pm)

Summary of role:

SPMAR are looking for Kitchen Assistant to join our team to enhance and support an excellent quality of daily life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation: Assisting with the preparation of meals.

Cleaning and Sanitizing: The correct cleaning and sanitizing all food preparation areas, cleaning equipment and cooking appliances, utensils, and dishes.

Inventory Management: Assisting with inventory control, organizing and storing food supplies, and ensuring that the kitchen is adequately stocked.

Maintaining Hygiene: Ensuring that all kitchen areas are clean and meet established standards of hygiene.

Supporting the Chef: Working under the supervision of a chef to ensure that everything is done in a timely and professional manner.

Waste Management: Removing Food waste, washing garbage cans, and clearing refrigerators, freezers, and storage rooms.

Experienced required:

· 1 year experience desirable

· Understand the importance for Health and Safety

· Good communication, organisational and time management skills,

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,

· Knowledge of food health and safety regulations are added advantage

· Have a strong positive attitude and aptitude

Pay: €14.00-€16.00 per hour
