Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in corporate law, litigation, and legal research tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis, Westlaw, and other legal research platforms to support ongoing cases and projects.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, contracts, and memoranda with attention to accuracy and clarity.
• Support the legal team in document review processes for litigation and compliance purposes.
• Aid in the analysis of legal issues related to fraud prevention and detection initiatives.
• Prepare summaries of legal findings and assist with case preparation for litigation or negotiations.
• Collaborate with attorneys on various projects related to general counsel activities, including contract management and risk assessment.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and research materials for easy retrieval.

Skills

• Strong research skills with proficiency in LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms.
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear, concise legal documents and memos.
• Solid understanding of contracts, litigation processes, and document review procedures.
• Knowledge of fraud prevention and detection strategies is a plus.
• Paralegal experience or coursework is preferred but not required.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues accurately.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
