About the role

We are looking for experienced, reliable, and enthusiastic male disability Support Workers who want to make a real difference by supporting our participants to achieve their goals and to live the life they choose. The main duties are to provide support to one of our male participants who needs assistance in daily living, medical appointments, shopping and any other social activities as directed by the participant’s family.

About you

• Previous experience / or qualification in working with people with disabilities (high intensity)
• Have a high level of trust, integrity and honesty and be able to keep a professional relationship with participant and his family
• Proven ability to provide high-quality person-centred support
• Are calm and supportive.
• Proven history if assisting clients with their physical and emotional well-being
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Are able to adapt to various behaviours.

Qualification and Experience

• Certificate III (or above) in Disability, Aged Care, Nursing or Individual Support
• Australian driver's licence & Own Reliable Car
• First Aid and CPR
• NDIS Screening Check
• Working with Children's Check
• NDIS Orientation Module
• Police Check (National Police Certificate)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $35.00 – $38.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Windsor VIC 3181: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Certificate I - IV (Preferred)

Experience:
