In Places, we don’t sit back and let things happen, we make things happen, and we do this in service to all Apple employees and customers. Our team is a diverse and nimble group that manages Apple’s retail stores, workplaces, and workplace services. We develop and manage Apple’s global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.
Description
We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and highly motivated leader with a demonstrated record in delivering outstanding workplaces to join our team as Places Leader- Ireland. You will be instrumental in overseeing Apple's corporate real estate portfolio and operations across Ireland, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and a world-class environment for our employees. You will be strategic in your leadership of this owned portfolio.

Oversee various programs to foster global consistency across our facilities, engineering, and real estate teams within Places.
Deliver complex projects on time and within budget, upholding the high standards expected of Apple’s Places team.
Lead an experienced team of engineering and facilities professionals, fostering their development and motivating them to deliver, manage, and maintain Apple's Corporate portfolio in Ireland.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with a broad spectrum of external partners, including facility operations, maintenance and services companies, utility companies, government agencies, architectural firms, general contracting firms, and other external vendors and contractors.
Partner effectively across all business units in Cork and Dublin, actively supporting Ireland site leadership and collaborating on Places and People team initiatives.
Represent our global Places team in Ireland, championing our values and investing in the growth and collaboration of the local team.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience specifically in high-quality construction and project management of large-scale, complex owner real estate initiatives.
Proven expertise in conservation and sustainable building maintenance practices.
Demonstrated success in advanced employee development, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture through continuous feedback and innovative operational tools.
Exceptional ability to unite and influence cross-functional teams, both within and outside the Places function (e.g., Security, IS&T, Finance, Corporate Communications, and Procurement), to drive standard methodologies and continuous process improvement.
Highly motivated to deliver best-in-class facilities services with a keen ability to strategically balance operational risk and investment, consistently optimizing for the highest quality at the best value.
A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial), Building Construction Management, or an equivalent field.
Minimum Qualifications
Extensive knowledge and proven experience with the upkeep and function of a complex owned real estate portfolio in a multinational environment, specifically within the Irish real estate, development, and facilities management market.
Demonstrated ownership and management of CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
Excellent people leadership and communication skills, including experience effectively leading teams of professionals to diagnose, manage, and resolve maintenance issues, prioritize repairs, and work constructively with all levels of an organisation.
Proven ability to enhance the employee experience through effective real estate and facilities management, working in close partnership with site leadership.
