Not many people can say they are working on building Australia’s future. With us you’ll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there’s equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.
A bit about your role
As the Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the Technology Delivery and Engineering Services portfolio across multiple domains. You will bring clarity and cohesion to complex programs by ensuring alignment with the Enterprise Technology Delivery process and by supporting the SEND team to meet key performance metrics. This role will see you fostering collaboration across diverse teams, both internal and external, while promoting transparency and visibility of portfolio performance.
You will be instrumental in supporting governance forums, enabling timely and informed decision-making, and ensuring risks, issues, and project change requests are managed with care and precision. By championing new ways of working, you will help embed innovative frameworks and processes that strengthen delivery outcomes and enhance the SEND team’s ability to meet strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to nbn’s commitment to excellence in technology delivery, ensuring projects are delivered with integrity, efficiency, and purpose.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you, you will likely have several years of experience working in program management within a team environment, ideally in the telecommunications industry. You are confident working across multi-disciplinary program teams and engaging with operational leaders, bringing a collaborative spirit and a solutions-focused mindset. Your strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills allow you to navigate complexity with ease, while your proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ensures you can communicate insights clearly and effectively.
You are someone who thrives under pressure, balancing tight deadlines with thoughtful decision-making. With excellent written and verbal communication skills, you build trust and connection across diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment and shared purpose. At your core, you are motivated by collaboration and continuous improvement, with a pragmatic yet compassionate approach that ensures outcomes are not only achieved but are sustainable and aligned with nbn’s broader vision.
