Safety Officer (Construction Projects)

We are seeking an experienced Construction Safety Officer to oversee and ensure compliance with safety standards in large-scale construction and greenfield projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure daily site safety compliance, monitoring contractors and site workers.
• Implement and enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct on-site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard monitoring.
• Manage and maintain safety documentation including reports, logs, and incident records.
• Coordinate safety drills, orientations, and toolbox talks to promote safe practices.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with local and international construction safety frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in construction safety, preferably with exposure to multinational projects.
• Certified/Accredited Safety Officer (DOLE-OSHC, SO2 or SO3).
• Strong knowledge of local safety laws (DOLE, PEZA, OSHC) and international standards (ISO 45001, OSHA).
• Excellent documentation, inspection, and coordination skills.
