Taitara Mahi - Senior Business Analyst

Hastings District Council is undertaking a significant digital transformation programme, including the implementation of a new enterprise-wide ERP system that will shape how we work across the organisation for years to come.

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by understanding and translating business needs into actionable solutions. The Senior Business Analyst will support transitioning the council from existing configured systems to out of the box processes and systems, ensuring that the final product meets the business outcomes and delivers value through effective communication, analysis, and process optimisation. Following the conclusion of this project, the Senior Business Analyst role will continue to be responsible for system upgrades and associated change management, along with Council wide Business Analyst requirements.

This is a great opportunity to grow and evolve your change management skills, as we look to integrate project management methodology with change management good practice. This will be supported by our Senior Digital Change Manager.

Ōu wheako – about you
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years of proven experience in senior business analysis roles, with a focus on digital projects.
• Proven experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
• Proven experience contributing to Change Advisory Boards.
• An understanding of Change Management Methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience supporting Change Management Teams with information needed for Change Impact Assessments, and training materials.
• Proven ability to work alongside to develop and grow Business Analyst skills, knowledge and expertise of the wider team
