About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and capable Account Manager to join our Corporate Sales team in the APAC region. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the Regional Sales Manager, South Asia Pacific. Wiley Corporate Solutions works with our scientific and medical communities, helping to turn critical research findings into easy-to-consume formats providing the right information to medical professionals to empower knowledge and decision making. The primary responsibility of this position is to drive the highest possible revenue and profits with clients across the defined territory by developing solutions from our portfolio of content while supporting our clients in achieving their promotional and educational objectives.

How you will make an impact

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients in your assigned territory, maintaining regular contact to understand their marketing and educational objectives.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to suggest appropriate solutions and drive a solution-focused client strategy incorporating all revenue streams across both print and online channels.
  • Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, exceed Corporate Sales revenue targets, and contribute to sustainable revenue growth.
  • Acquire new customers, build and maintain strong business relationships, and develop key networks with senior-executive level customers.
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences and events to develop potential business contacts.
  • Work independently or lead teams to identify, pursue, or manage accounts/opportunities with large size/strategic importance/risk of loss.

What we look for:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, with a track record of exceeding financial goals.
  • Extensive experience within an industry that advocates for a structured sales approach, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or educational sector.
  • Strong client-centric relationship management skills, exceptional consultative and strategic selling skills, and excellent proposal writing and presentation skills.
  • The ability to travel 50-60% of the time to visit clients and attend annual sales conferences.
  • Proficiency in English (Professional Working Proficiency), with Korean or other Asian languages being a bonus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, science, or a related healthcare field highly desired.

It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
