What you'll be doing
- Manage the accounts receivable ledger and reconcile accounts regularly
- Follow up on outstanding payments from customers and clients, using effective communication and negotiation skills
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the timely processing of invoices and payments
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports and analysis
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the accounts receivable function
What we're looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing tasks
- Knowledge of accounts receivable best practices and relevant regulations
