Acmv Pump System Service Technician (Field Service)

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on and experienced ACMV Pump System Service Technician to support our growing operations. The role involves field servicing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul of pump systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, maintenance, and overhaul of ACMV and water pump systems
• Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and carry out repair works
• Conduct on-site servicing and technical support for clients
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment
• Carry out preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure optimal performance
• Support both workshop repairs and field service assignments
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and job updates

Technical Experience Required

ACMV Pump Systems

• Chilled Water Pumps (CHWP) – circulation to AHUs / FCUs
• Condenser Water Pumps (CWP) – heat rejection via cooling towers
• Primary & Secondary Pump Systems
• Condensate Pumps (AC drainage systems)
• Thermal Energy Storage (TES) Pumps (ice storage systems)

General Pump Systems

• Booster pumps / pressure systems
• Water transfer & sump pumps
• Fire protection pumps
• Centrifugal & submersible pumps
• Vertical multistage pumps
• Self-priming & mini booster pumps

Technical Skills

• Pump installation, replacement, and alignment
• Pump overhauling and servicing
• Mechanical seal replacement (end suction pumps)
• Electrical motor servicing, including bearing replacement for all types of motors
• Troubleshooting of flow, pressure, vibration, and noise issues
• Ability to handle residential, commercial, and industrial systems

Requirements

• Experience in ACMV / pump systems / mechanical servicing
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to travel for site work across Singapore
• Responsible, hands-on, and committed to work
• Class 3 driving license (preferred)

Added Advantage

• Experience with cooling towers, AHU/FCU systems, plant rooms
• Familiar with preventive maintenance schedules and reporting
• Good safety awareness and site coordination skills
