Barista

Role Overview:

We're not a fancy coffee lab. We're not a drive-thru with a headset and a timer. We're a neighbourhood spot where regulars know our names, and we know theirs. We're looking for someone who brings good energy, works well with others, and doesn't mind a little chaos when the morning rush hits. You don't need to be a coffee expert (we'll figure that part out together), we care way more about how you treat the person next to you and the customer in front of you.

What you'll actually be doing:

• Making drinks
• Serving customers (friendly chats, answering questions)
• Keeping the cafe clean (wiping counters, restocking cups, taking out trash)
• Helping your teammates when they're in the weeds (even if it's not "your job")

You're probably a good fit if:

• You don't panic when there's a line out the door
• You notice when someone needs help and just... help them
• You can be friendly at 7am (or at least fake it until your coffee kicks in)
• You're cool with constructive feedback, we all get better together
• You don't mind washing dishes, sweeping floors, or taking out the trash
• You actually like people (mostly)
