Barista/All Rounder

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. The position involves handling food and beverages safely while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company standards
• Operate POS systems, for order processing and cash handling
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely service
• Handle cash transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including coffee machines, counters, and seating areas
• Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, including light snack or pastry service
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers professionally and courteously
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure smooth operations

Skills

• Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is required
• Proficiency with POS systems,
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude
• Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• MUST have valid Safe Food Handlers Certificate.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform serving, food preparation, and cashiering duties confidently
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
