Barista/Bartender

The Barista/Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, beverages, and alcoholic drinks while delivering excellent customer service. This role combines coffee expertise with bartending skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Ensure excellent front of house service
• Ensure that all bar equipment is in good working order
• Respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
• Ensure food and beverage orders taken are complete and correct
• Ensure that food and beverage ordered by guest are delivered on time within the company standard
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked at the end of service and to reconcile stock back to sales.
• Ensure the bar operation (opening, closing, service and security) is operated in line with procedures and any other written and verbal communications.
• Ensure high standards of customer service at all times
• Responsible for safe and secure handling of bar stocks
• Supporting hospitality services and events
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, health and safety
• Clean and maintain equipment, including espresso machines and bar tools
• Handle customer questions, requests, and complaints professionally
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must have at least 1-2 years of working experience as Barista/Bartender
• Guest-oriented with good communication skills.
• Positive interpersonal skill is required.
• Must be able to cross-trained to other stations.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, classic cocktails, basic mixology, and bar operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, nightlife setting.
• Team player with a professional attitude.
