Billing Associate - Project Based -Open For Fresh Graduates

Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Billing Associate to support our off-site medical operations. This role involves managing patient registration, billing, and insurance claims processing. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical billing and coding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Registration: Ensure accurate and timely registration of patients for off-site procedures.
• Medical Billing & Coding: Apply appropriate codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) to patient records for billing purposes.
• Claims Processing: Submit claims to insurance providers and follow up on any denials or rejections.
• Account Reconciliation: Maintain and update patient billing records and reconcile statements.
• Coordination: Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
• Compliance Support: Assist in audits and ensure adherence to healthcare billing regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay informed about updates in billing standards and healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in medical billing or a similar role is preferred.
• Proficient in medical billing software (e.g., Cerner, Epic).
• Strong understanding of billing and coding standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
