Position Overview
Service runs daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM for hotel guests, followed by brunch service from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Every table receives attentive, full-service hospitality with fresh coffee, house-made breads, and a dining experience designed to feel personal and memorable.
You will be the face of the dining room each morning, turning sleepy arrivals into loyal fans before their second cup, then helping carry that energy into a vibrant brunch service.
What You’ll Do
Guest Service
- Greet guests warmly within service standards
- Guide guests through the breakfast and brunch menus confidently
- Take drink and food orders accurately
- Deliver food promptly and professionally
- Maintain tables throughout service with refills, clearing, and reset
- Send guests off with genuine hospitality
Breakfast & Brunch Experience Standards
- Present bread baskets with house-made baked goods and compound butter
- Execute polished coffee and tea service
- Perform tableside French press coffee presentation when needed
- Anticipate guest needs without hovering
- Maintain upbeat, attentive service through changing service periods
Dining Room Operations
- Set and reset tables quickly and cleanly
- Maintain cleanliness of dining room, service stations, and beverage areas
- Stock service items before and during shift
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and management
- Assist with transition from breakfast to brunch service smoothly and efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Friendly, dependable, and punctual
- Comfortable working early mornings, late mornings, and weekends
- Strong communication skills
- Calm under pressure during busy service windows
- Able to multitask while staying gracious and detail-focused
- Restaurant or hotel experience preferred, but personality and work ethic matter most
Schedule
- Morning to early afternoon shifts
- Breakfast service: 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM
- Brunch service: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- Consistent early start times
