Concrete Laborer

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing concrete-related tasks that bring construction projects to life. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure that each project meets quality standards and is completed efficiently. Duties

• Assist with the preparation of concrete forms, including framing, rebar installation, and setting up formwork systems to shape concrete structures.
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other power tools safely and efficiently to pour, spread, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, leveling, and texturing to achieve desired surface quality.
• Support the installation of rebar, metal studs, and other reinforcement materials according to blueprints and schematics.
• Handle heavy lifting and move construction materials around the site using appropriate equipment and hand tools.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
• Contribute to masonry work, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related renovation tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience working on construction sites with a focus on concrete-related tasks or similar roles.
• Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks.
• Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required.
• Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping is highly desirable.
• Basic understanding of masonry, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, roofing, metal stud framing, welding, restoration work or renovation projects is advantageous.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or experience operating heavy machinery can be beneficial but not mandatory.
