Hangry Kitchen is a scratch kitchen built on the kind of seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking Rhode Island has come to expect. The menu changes weekly, sourcing is hyper-local, and the standard is precision—every dish, every night.

We’re looking for a line cook who wants to be part of something creative, ambitious, and different — and who wants to grow with us as we build our second concept.

Responsibilities

- Execute dishes during service with consistency and attention to detail

- Contribute ideas as new dishes are developed and tested

- Maintain a clean and organized workstation

- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team through high-volume services

- Follow recipes and execute proper technique

- Take on general kitchen tasks as needed, with the flexibility a fast-moving kitchen demands

Qualifications

- Line cook experience preferred. Everything else can be taught — showing up with the right mindset can’t.

- Works clean, fast, and composed under pressure

- Genuine interest in food, service, and hospitality

- Dependable, punctual, and team-first

- Hungry to improve every service and build real culinary skills

Schedule

We’re open four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, with service running from 4pm - 10pm.

This is a part-time role including nights and weekends, with full-time opportunities as we continue to grow.

Compensation

- Competitive hourly pay, based on experience. Bring exceptional experience, and we’ll recognize it.
