Dental Assistant

Job Summary
Sage Hill Dental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Assist dentists during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and ready for use.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the CLEARDENT system.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed, including patient check-in and check-out.
• Ensure that all dental instruments are properly sterilized and maintained according to health regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and efficient environment for patients.
• Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including CAD systems and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed with CADA.
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
• Familiarity with Scanner is a plus, along with knowledge of Cleardent software for patient management.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy clinical setting.
• 1 year experience of working as a RDA in fast paced dental practice.
• Should be able to work on weekends.
