It ensures seamless integration of digital tools and infrastructure across all campuses, fostering innovation and operational efficiency.
INSEAD is seeking a Director Content, Engagement and Learning Systems to join our Digital Department . This is a full-time, permanent position based at our Asia Campus in Singapore. A hybrid working model is in place – 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Digital Delivery, you will lead a global team of system analysts, technical leads, and project managers in developing and maintaining software applications. Your role will ensure the highest quality of global software delivery and support across all INSEAD campuses. You will develop and recommend best practice methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance the quality and cost efficiency of software delivery and support. Additionally, you will ensure critical services are performant and secure by collaborating with Infrastructure Operations and Cybersecurity functions. You will formalize and implement the Digital Factory strategy to build an AI-assisted development team with automation capabilities for rapid software delivery. Managing strong vendor relationships and aligning provider partnerships to meet organizational needs will also be key responsibilities.
Your role within the team
- Manage and lead a team of about 30, through 3 direct reports
- Manage contracted external vendors provides development and operations support services for all applications. This includes both contractors and near-shoring vendors. Support the Strategic Sourcing implementation, which includes:
- Transition to cost effective regions and resourcing
- Transition to managed services instead of paying by headcount (outcome vs time-based)
- Develop and recommend project and product delivery framework, process and tools. Drive the Digital Factory focus area:
- Enabling AI Assisted Development
- Onboard all builds onto CICD with QA Automations
- Review build app architectures to be microservices
- Standardise Development to Common Tech Stack
- Standardise Product Management & Scrum process to enhance collaboration & min reworks
- Define Product Roadmaps together with Product Owners. Immediate opportunity to develop and deliver
- strong roadmap for MyINSEAD,
- Learning Hub Commercialisation,
- integration of LMS and Intrepid to enable more seamless hybrid learning environment,
- Creating a single CMS environment for content across all products.
- Engage key business stakeholders and participate in major project steering committees to shape implementation strategy for successful delivery
- Manage Project and Product software delivery, meeting and exceeding business requirements and expectations. Manage Project and Product budget, quality and resource capacity management
The ideal candidate profile
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field
- Relevant experience in managing a global team of software developers, technical leads, project managers, functional managers
- Relevant experience in a Software Delivery environment, preferably managing across a global, multi-cultural environment
- Experienced team manager with experience of supervising and developing technology staff, determining skills and staffing staff levels and of enabling a learning organization to facilitate development of technical and functional expertise, quality management, and customer centricity.
- Experienced driving joint venture setup and commercialising of product platform
- Able to work globally across diverse teams on software delivery
- Possess a transparent work methodology, clear leadership style and able to inspire and mentor others to go beyond client expectations, delivering exceptional service while also fostering a culture of client focus
- Demonstrable track record of leading change toward the goal of organizational excellence and connecting individual performance to organizational success
- Fosters a collaborative environment, encourages open communication, and promotes cooperation within a team distributed across the globe and culturally diverse.
- Vendor management and negotiation
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills including the ability to influence for results
- Work across a broad portfolio of technologies and services. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities within time, budget, technical and customer constraints
- Good understanding of key business processes, the demand imposed by them on IT operations and support, and management of key internal/external stakeholders Ability to perform with the inherent stress of an operations / support leadership position
