Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain a clean and safe workspace
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients under supervision
• Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely service readiness
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety standards
• Handle food items following proper food safety protocols to prevent contamination
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods
• Support general cleaning duties including trash removal and sanitizing workstations to uphold hygiene standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Familiarity with basic food handling, cleaning procedures, and kitchen safety practices is advantageous
• Experience with catering or banquet settings enhances your ability to adapt quickly in diverse hospitality scenarios
• Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen operations can be a plus but is not mandatory for success in this role
• Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for thriving in a fast-paced culinary environment
