Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring food safety standards are met and that kitchen operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and teamwork, with previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food handling environments being a plus.

Duties

• Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks under supervision
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning
• Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure safety standards are upheld
• Help with dishwashing and sanitation of cookware, dishes, and kitchen tools
• Organize ingredients and supplies to facilitate efficient kitchen operations
• Assist in serving food to guests when needed
• Follow all health and safety regulations to prevent contamination and accidents
• Support the team during busy service times by performing various hospitality-related tasks as required

Requirements

• Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly
• Experience with food preparation and basic cooking skills is a plus
• Strong understanding of hospitality and customer service principles
• Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
