Floater Teacher

Responsibilities:

· Ensure the children have good hygiene and changing diapers/pull ups as necessary.

· Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day.

· Serve and supervise meals and snacks for the children.

· Organize activities and participate with the children.

· Follow the lesson plan and schedule.

· Keep records of each child’s progress, interests, and any problems that may occur.

· Maintain contact with the children’s parents and relaying information from throughout the day.

· Provide a safe and educational environment for the children.

· Supervise play and nap time.

· Provide responsible care and maintain all safety standards.

· Ensure the classroom is sanitary and in order.

· Maintain a professional and positive relationship with parents, children, and staff.

· Frequent cleaning duties around the center.

·Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt them to meet the needs of individual students
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Passion for working with children and promoting their welfare

-You must be flexible to work any shift between 6:45am-6:00pm and work in any age group classroom that is needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour
