Food Runner/Busser

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Duties

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards.
• Assist servers by communicating any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables as needed.
• Support banquet operations by assisting with set-up and breakdown of events.
• Utilize SpotOn POS system for order tracking and communication with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and restaurant environments.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to food service.
• Knowledge of banquet service is a plus.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
