Full Time PHARMACY ASSISTANT

POSITION AVAILABLE AT D&M PHARMACY AND TRAVEL CLINIC NW

D&M Pharmacy and Travel Clinic is currently seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to Join our team at the NW Location as we are growing fast. With the high demand on our services, we require an additional pharmacy staff member to join our expanding team.

Requirements:

Certification from recognized program, Excellent communication and customer service skills, Knowledge of Kroll is an asset, Preferred previous pharmacy experience.

Duties including but not limited to:

- Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

- Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock and determine inventory level, placing and expediting orders and removing outdated drugs.

- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications and pharmaceutical products according to the prescription's information

- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)

- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned

Job Type: Part-time-full time

Salary: $19-24$

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
