Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate seating assignments
• Coordinate seating flow to minimize wait times and optimize table turnover
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person with clarity and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience

Experience

• Previous host or hostess experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse guests and team members
• Experience working with POS systems such as Toast POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Background in food service, hospitality, or hotel guest services enhances your ability to excel in this role
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and a positive attitude
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest relations best practices is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for success in this energetic role

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
