Bay Breeze Care is an assisted living facility for the adult community (ages 18-59) located in Long Beach, CA. We are currently seeking a hardworking, entry-level, housekeeper to assist our residents and join our assisted living team. Qualifications (non-negotiable):

• Able to clear DOJ FBI live scan criminal background clearance mandated by licensing
• Able to pass pre employment physical and TB test clearance
• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in housekeeping and preferred but not required
• Knowledge of operating a laundry machine and dryer
• Flexible scheduling

Job Description:

• Follow laundry schedule to thoroughly clean resident’s linens
• Replenish supplies in laundry rooms and common areas
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room in facility
• Remove all excess waste replaces plastic liners
• Clean, scrubs, polishes and sanitize all surfaces, toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors in the common area bathrooms.
• Attend monthly in-services meeting and employee training
• Prepares, cooks and presents food according to posted menus
• Utilize established recipes and food production standards
• Maintains quality food appearance and taste
• Ensure proper sanitation of kitchen and safe food handling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive working environment
• Complete food orders and ensures food levels are well maintain
• Additional duties as assigned by Administration
