Hr Generalist

he HR Generalist is responsible for performing a variety of human resource support functions that ensure the effective implementation of HR programs and policies. This role covers all key HR areas including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws.

The HR Generalist serves as a partner to both management and employees — helping build a productive, compliant, and SHIP-aligned work culture.

Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for final selection.
  • Prepare job offers and facilitate new hire orientation.
  • Maintain candidate database and recruitment metrics.

2. Employee Engagement and Relations

  • Organize and execute employee engagement programs and recognition activities.
  • Support internal communication initiatives to strengthen company culture.
  • Address employee concerns and maintain healthy workplace relationships.
  • Participate in grievance handling and disciplinary proceedings as needed.

3. Performance Management

  • Support implementation of the performance appraisal system.
  • Monitor goal-setting and evaluation timelines.
  • Assist in developing performance improvement plans (PIPs) when required.
  • Generate reports and insights for management review.

4. Training and Development

  • Coordinate internal and external training programs.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Assist in identifying learning and development needs per department.

5. Compensation and Benefits

  • Assist in payroll coordination and government contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records and benefits documentation.
  • Support HR in compensation review and benchmarking activities.

6. HR Administration and Compliance

  • Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
  • Prepare HR reports, memos, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Participate in HR audits and policy development initiatives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php22,000.00 per month

Experience:
