Indian Cook

Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Cooks. If you have a passion for food, culinary arts, and working in a fast-paced dynamic environment, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

** MUST be able to work hours 9:00 pm to 3am and 6:00pm - 2:00 am

** MUST be able to cook Indian food and pub style items.

• Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients and kitchen setup before opening
• Monitor food stock levels and communicate any shortages
• Handle any minor kitchen maintenance issues as needed
• Support kitchen staff in maintaining a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a pub/nightclub kitchen is an asset
• Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to assist team members as needed
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Attention to detail during food preparation and kitchen cleanup

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
